Frequently asked questions

How do I log a training session?

Open Chalk and tap Coach. From the Roster tab, tap an athlete's name to open their profile, then tap Log session. Rate each assigned skill from 1 (Needs Work) to 4 (Nailed It). When you are done, tap Save & build homework. Chalk will auto-generate a personalized drill plan.

What do the rating numbers mean?

Every skill is rated on a 1-4 scale:

How do homework plans work in the demo?

After logging a session, Chalk generates a draft drill plan. Go to the Homework tab and tap Review on any pending plan. You can remove drills you do not want, then save the plan and review homework progress inside the demo role views.

How do I reset the demo to its original state?

Enter the Facility Admin role, go to the Settings tab, and tap Reset demo data. This restores all athletes, coaches, sessions, and homework to the original Starfire Gymnastics demo and returns you to the role picker.

What data does Chalk store, and where?

All data is stored locally on your device. There is no account, no server, and no cloud sync. Your session logs, homework plans, and athlete profiles live in your device's local storage under the key chalk_store_v1. Resetting the app or reinstalling will clear this data.

Is Chalk available on Android?

Chalk is currently an iOS app. Android support is being evaluated for a future release.
